Ultrasound-Guided Nerve Block Workshop

Course Overview:

 

Full Day hands on workshop, learning how to perform the most useful POCUS-guided nerve blocks:

​

1. Head and Neck:

  • Interscalene

  • Superficial Cervical

  • Supraclavicular

​​

2. Torso:

  • Erector Spinae Plane block

  • Serratus Anterior

  • Transverse Abdominus plane block

​​

3. Upper Extremity:

  • Ulnar

  • Median

  • Radial

​

4. Lower Extremity:

  • Femoral (Fascia Iliaca)

  • Popliteal Sciatic

  • Posterial Tibial

​

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Understand the indications for each block

  • Visualize the anatomy on live models

  • Practice your nerve block injections on phantom simulators.

  • Learn how nerve blocks can improve patient's pain, decrease narcotic use and improve overall patient care!!
