Course Overview:

 

Intensive 3-day course at the Jewish General Hospital that will provide participants with opportunity to obtain all requirements for CPoCUS Certification for EITHER the Diagnostic or Resuscitation stream

1. Diagnostic Stream:

•  Gall Bladder (Biliary colic, acute cholecystitis

​​

• Renal and Bladder (Hydronephrosis, bladder size)

 

• Lower Extremity veins (DVT)

​

• Ocular (retinal detachment, vitreous detachment/hemorrhage)

​

​

1. Resuscitation Stream:

• Advanced Cardiac (LV function, PCE, RV size) .

 

• Advanced lung (pneumothorax, Pulmonary edema, pneumonia, effusion

 

• Inferior vena cava (CVP and RA pressure)
