FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Do you offer medical student/resident discounts?

Due to the significant costs of putting on this course which includes over 100 models, 10 ultrasound machines, 1 on 1 instructors, we are unable to offer any reduction to the registration fee. In addition, many residency programs have integrated some sort of POCUS training and assessment within their training.

2. Is there a guarantee of obtaining my IP certification by the end of the boot camp?

Every effort has been made within the schedule of the boot camp to allow participants adequate opportunity to successfully complete the various aspects of IP certification (scans, written exam, visual exam, practical exam). However, there is no guarantee that any individual participant will pass each component of the certification within 3 days. Coming prepared to the boot camp by completing all the pre-readings will maximize your chances of success.

3. Is there a refund policy?

Refunds are provided if cancellation occurs >30 days before the start of the boot camp (minus a 10% administration fee). No refunds will be offered if cancellations are requested less than 30 days before the start of the boot camp.

4. What are the CME credits associated with this course?

CPoCUS Core Independent Practitioner training is recognized by both the CFPC and the RCPSC. Members who complete the training to become an Independent practitioner will receive 60 CFPC certification credits or 25 RCPSC Section 3 credits
